Inspired by her world travels through volunteer beginning 2007 then a color theory course taken in 2014, Madison E. (Mad.E) liberates her expression connecting mind, body, colors, compositions, textures, gestures, collage, and mixing acrylic paints. Using pallet knives to express herself through color on large canvas, she aspires to inspire the public eye. Madison hints to landscapes explored, suggests life’s complexities, diversities and commonalities between cultures, her personal truths, encompassing all that surrounds her. Joan Mitchell, Georgia O’Keefe, Gerhart Richter, Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler, are only some of the artists that continue to move Madison into her style of expression. “I paint not because I want to necessarily, but because it is just what happens. It’s a release…it’s happenings happening through me. “ - Mad.E What is in the works now? Mad.E has 3 installation ideas working, one of which you can be a part in creating -- Check out "The Expedition" tab above.
